Great information presented by a very comforting voice that is unbiased and doesn’t judge people based on life choices.
Revisado: 09-09-21
ALL people deserve justice!!!
This is exactly what the presenter believes and states in just about every episode. I cannot get enough of this podcast. I binged the ones I hadn’t heard when I first found it but I find myself everyday just hoping that a new one is waiting for me when I log in. :). I love the way she interviews the family and friends and any officials that can or will speak to her about the case(s). She doesn’t try to judge herself. She just presents the facts and leaves it there. I love this. Her voice is also very soothing and it makes it an easy listen before bed at night as well. And you never know, one episode one day, just may alert you to the fact that you may have information that someone is looking for to solve one of these cases. Wouldn’t that be wonderful if you could help a family find closure on the loss of their love one? Keep doing what you are doing, hun. Great job!!!

Historia
On the evening of February 24, 1995, 32-year-old Donna Gibson was at home in Louisa, Virginia, with her husband and four young children. She was sick that evening with a respiratory infection and chose to sleep on the couch. Early the next morning, her daughter thought she saw Donna asleep and went quietly back to bed, but just several hours later, she had vanished. There was no evidence of a struggle and no sign of a break-in. However, Donna didn’t disappear without a trace, and all paths pointed her family to one person in the search for her more than 26 years later.

The stories are called The Vanished, NOT the found
Revisado: 09-09-21
Those that write that the story doesn’t finish is simple, these are stories about people vanishing. These podcasts are put together in hopes of helping to solve a mystery. If after the original podcast is aired, there are updates that happen, then there will be an updated podcast that will air and it will be named “update” or something similar. It’s unfair to give a one star review because you expect something other than what is advertised as to what the podcast is all about. I think these are all very informative and well presented. I can’t wait each week for a new one!!! These are very thoughtfully put together, no judgement made on anyone for any lifestyle choices, and is genuine in her reporting. If you are into true mysteries that involve missing persons or people, this is a great one!!! The presenters voice is very easy to listen to as well. Some people can grate on your nerves with their tone. The presenter here has, to me, the perfect tone and the kind heart she has adds to the overall presentation of the facts.
If you are looking for a great mystery to listen to, I don’t believe you can go wrong even bing listening to this one. I binged them all to catch up. :)
Keep doing what you are doing hun, GREAT JOB!!!

No actual summaries given on the cases
Revisado: 08-29-21
The stories are very well told and researched. Presentation is clear and precise. I enjoyed listening to each and every one of them. However, at the end of each case, the author gives his thoughts, which I greatly appreciated, but nothing is stated about what actually took place. Was there a trial? Was someone arrested? Was someone executed? What actually took place at the conclusion of the case or in the very least, state if no one was ever arrested or convicted or if they were, then state what was concluded at the end of they trial(s). I googled each case to get the ending myself.

The only way to "read" this book, to me, would be to hear it straight out of the mouth of the beautiful, talented and glamorous woman herself. Ms. Burnett delivers a stellar performance reading this book. I loved every second of it and I was a little sad that it came to an end. I'm about to see if I can find more of her books now, listen to this book, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Ms. carol Burnett for sharing your life stories with us!!!
