What made the experience of listening to The Fiery Trial the most enjoyable?
I only got this audiobook because it was read by Sam Heughan and I wanted to hear more of his voice. :-)
Darn it, though, he foiled me. Sam's performance was SO good that I got into the story and completely forgot about who was doing the reading.
Perhaps since I was jumping into the middle of a series I couldn't find it in me to want to learn any more about the world, although it seems like it could be an interesting one.

Would you listen to Streiker's Bride again? Why?
Generally I don't care for author read audio books, but I truly enjoyed Robin's reading of her work. Not only did the soft Texas accent put me in mind of how she envisioned her characters speaking, but she was pleasant to listen to.
Robin's books are usually fairly quick reads, but I appreciated the fact that listening to this audio book slowed me down. I noticed things and made scriptural connections that I never had before, even after reading Streiker's Bride many, many times over the years.
What aspect of Robin Hardy’s performance would you have changed?
Well, I have loved it if she had acted out the voices, like some actors/readers do! But I thought she did a nice reading.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book has been a favorite of mine for years and it was delightful to get to experience it in a new and different way.

What did you like best about Tiger's Destiny? What did you like least?
I love the story of this series, the action combined with the romance is wonderful. I didn't care for the author's writing. She's a new author and has great story ideas, but really needs to work on her craft.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tiger's Destiny?
I love Ren & Kelsey's first kiss. It's sweet with just enough, but not TOO much detail.
What about Annika Boras’s performance did you like?
Annika Boras brings life to the characters by the voices she choose and her performance. This life was otherwise missing in the author's written words. I definitely prefer listening to this series.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
The first book in this series IS going to be a movie in a few years and I'm very much looking forward to seeing Tiger's Curse in theaters!
