Long but engaging

John Grisham seems to be evolving as an author. He’s not just giving us the exciting wow factor, but creating a world and detail that is fascinating. The story did seem to drag on a bit, but certainly not enough for me to stop listening. John Grisham continues to be, someone that I have read every book from. Looking forward to his next project.

Great story of real journey living with addiction

Shonah does a good job reading her story. The emotion is strong and sometimes comes through raw and in the moment. This is a compelling real life story of how a young bride encounters very difficult circumstances and walks through with strength and courage. Her faith in God is so strong, honest and often very vulnerable.
Her path is often unexpected and goes in a direction that will give both challenges and encouragement to those on a similar journey.
