I really liked the story, and the performance of the narrator. it was well done, and just different enough. there were a few things I was not sure if I had just missed or were just not explained or purposely left out. Was it an alternate timeline? was it a post-apocalyptic future? what is the reason for their caste system? I have a long list of books to read, but have added part 2 to the list.

edit: it answers alot of questions in the first few sentences.... must have missed it.

What are they? I was so confused at the beginning, but not in a bad way. I had so many questions. There is mystery, action, fighting, romance, magic (?)..... so much... so much, I don't want to give away details, but if your a fan of mythology, you may be a fan of this.

VR Battlecraft

The book was a colorful team of characters whom all play for a VR battle team. Each character bring their own bit of appeal to the story. You won't feel confused by who any of the characters are as each one is unique. the story itself takes you on an adventure inside and outside of the game. A battle of trust, conspiracy, real world issues, and video game themes. Overall good story.

Decent short story

For myself, it started off very confusing, like it was a continuation of another series. It led into the story quick, and after you got a hold of who the characters were, you got into the story. Saying this, by the time I got into the story, it was concluding. It left me with a lot of questions and none at the same time. if this was an offshoot of another story I knew, I would have thought it was great.....

WHAT!!!!!!

So i think i was secretly coerced into buying this by the Wu-Tang comments, but it was fucking amazing. i finished it in a few days. i found myself sitting in my car to finish parts of it. It has parts of it that are just extremely funny, but then it tskes turns and it's gets almost too real. I won't spoil anything, but damn... some parts are tough. i would recommend this book. it is read by the author and you get the authenticity of her work, the feeling is undeniable and bleeds into you as a reader.....

the story itself was amazing. Something just new enough, but familiar that you weren't so lost.

The book is an abundance of information

That being said, that never affects my review.

I started to listen to this book because my girlfriend is interested in CBD oil usage, and I'm a skeptic. I found this book to be a wealth of knowledge. It gives examples of how it can be used for almost everything, and eith great details. It gives dosages that would work and why, backs up its info with research citations, and gives recipes. After listening, I still have a few doubts, but it has opened my eyes. I think CBD oil is now a viable option for treatment of my family (migraines, body pain, sleep).

The narrator also did a very good job. i have recently had been luck in that department.

Overall I recommend. Four stars merely cause I'm a tough rater.

I got this book for free in turn for a review.

with that being said that in no way influences my review. i thought the story was good. not great. it plays almost like a detective novel with some fantasy or mythology bundled in. I did like it, i think i would have liked it more if the narrator was better. it seems to be my biggest gripe lately. he was almost monotone, no emotion or ability to differentiate between who was speaking unless he points it out.

Before i started the book i had looked reviews online. After reading some i was hesitant to start. Needing a break from other books i started it up.

Being a gamer i loved the book. i can't wait for a continuation. The character building was great. Even the characters you don't particularly care about, you can easily identify within the story.

The story line progressed perfect. Found myself taking the longer way home from work, or sitting in my car to hear more.

i want the next book.

great book. I love the narration by will Wheaton. at first I was a little lost, but I also read ready player one by cline, and that was great as well.
