Good book

I'm a big fan and believer in Dave Ramsey and his message. This is the second book of his that I have listened to. His system is simple, common sense, and easy to follow. Taking his advice has changed alot of my views on the subject of money, and has put me on the right track to succeed in life after making many mistakes and bad decisions in my 20's. I enjoyed this book, but in my opinion, his book "the total money makeover" is much better. Good luck to anyone reading this on your journey to financial prosperity.

Loved it!

I highly recommend this for anyone looking to better their lives and financial well being. I'm a big fan of Dave and his common sense approach to finances. This is the first book of his that I've listened to, I definitely plan on listening to more. I recently started listening to clips of his radio program on YouTube, and I am drinking the Kool-Aid. If you're tired of living paycheck to paycheck, please listen to this man and his message, it can change your life.

Didn't live up to the hype for me

I have heard this book talked about and recommended for years. I finally got around to listening to it. It has alot of good information and ideas in it, but the delivery was extremely dry and boring for me. It was a chore finishing it. I'll probably give it another try eventually, there is alot of information to absorb in it, but I'd definitely recommend only taking it a chapter or two at a time like the book suggests.

I'm a very big fan of Larry Winget and his message. I've read and listened to several of his books, which are also great. He's a no BS, no excuses, take personal responsibility for the problems in your life kind of guy. He's also not politically correct, which I absolutely love and appreciate, considering how our society is. I highly recommend this or any of his other books, very informative and entertaining.

Definitely worth a listen. This is the third David Bach book I've listened to, all have been good. I'm a big fan of his simple, no nonsense approach to personal finance.

Very little information

Very interesting subject. One I plan on researching further. But the book has very little substance. It started off well, but got progressively worse as the book went on. Learned a couple of things to at least point me in the right direction.

Wish it was longer

Only complaint is that I wish it was longer. Audible, get some books about Ray Kroc in your inventory!!

Mediocre at best

There was some interesting information in the book, but it was not at all what I was expecting. That is my fault for not reading more reviews and summaries before purchasing. This book comes highly recommended from many financial authors and experts, which is why I purchased it, I guess I must be missing something.

If you love statistics and research data, then this is the book for you!! Because that's basically all it is. It's very repetitive, long, and boring. The overall theme that they repeat throughout the book is, "be frugal, and invest". Common sense advice, but they don't go into any detail about what these millionaires invested in, or what their process was to get there. It would have been much more interesting if they picked a handful of the interview subjects and detailed their journey to financial freedom. I learned a couple of new things, which is what I aim for in any book that I read or listen to, but overall this book was mediocre at best.
