Different approach that falls short

Interesting format of combining AI stories with a companion technology explanation. As a software technologists and sci-fiction reader, the book misses in both areas. The stores were not well developed and was benign compared to other sci-fiction. I found myself focusing on just the explanations which had some interesting information. For people familiar with AI, this was not significantly insightful.

This is disturbing in some was but is gripping in the transformation. Extremely well written with the ability to create visual images in my mind. Read it over two days.

This book did not meet my expectations which were not that high in the first place. The book focuses on shopping (for clothing) more than some of the significant historic and memorable locations. I tried to follow his path using a map of Lyons. When I did, I noticed a number of interesting areas that were not addressed. The chapters listed in the orderable app did not align with the physical books chapters. Also if they had Titles along with the chapter number it would have been very useful.

Good perspective on current influences

The book is slightly outdated but is still relevant even in today’s environment. The conclusion and the conversation about geography are very in tune with what’s happening today.
