Historia
Artificial intelligence does the seemingly impossible - driving cars, trading stocks, and teaching children. But facing the sea change that AI will bring can be paralyzing. How should companies set strategies, governments design policies, and people plan their lives for a world so different from what we know? In Prediction Machines, three eminent economists recast the rise of AI as a drop in the cost of prediction. With this single, masterful stroke, they lift the curtain on the AI-is-magic hype and show how basic tools from economics provide clarity about the AI revolution and a basis for action by CEOs, managers, policy makers, investors, and entrepreneurs.

Great for novices in the area
Revisado: 10-16-19
The information shared in this book was basic and repeats many contributions already provided by other authors. It is however, a good introduction into the area.

Historia
When General Stanley McChrystal took command of the Joint Special Operations Task Force in Iraq in 2003, he quickly realized that conventional military tactics were failing. The allied forces had a huge advantage in numbers, equipment and training - but none of the enemy's speed and flexibility. McChrystal and his colleagues discarded a century of conventional wisdom to create a 'team of teams' that combined extremely transparent communication with decentralised decision-making authority.

Good repackaging of old ideas
Revisado: 10-02-19
This book repackages many ideas on organisational design. Good for an introduction into how organisation's can deal with increasing complexity but does not dive into sufficient detail into a number of ideas that have been previously progressed by other authors (eg., sense making; stewardship theory; disclosing new worlds; Being and becoming).

Nothing to see here
Revisado: 02-28-19
Old ideas rehashed with even less impact than the originals. The framework itself is not bad, it's just not new or original...more of a combination of innovation literature principles. This would be a useful read if you are completely new in the innovation space. The performance is terrible. The narrator has clearly not even browsed this book prior to recording, the intonation and pronunciation is incorrect. She often emphasizes the wrong words in the sentence and by doing so, removes what few impact full sentences would have existed in the book.
