Historia
The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it's kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine's aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born.

A great read

This book is one of Nora's best in recent years. I much prefer her standalone stories vs the mythical trilogies she's been churning out lately (all love Nora, just personal preference). The story dealt with tough subject matter, was emotionally charged and I liked that the relationship with Bodine and Cal just progressed naturally. No drama. Both were mature, neither needed convincing that being together is what they needed to be. This story very much focuses on the female bond of mothers, daughters, sisters and friends and if anyone follows Nora's blog, it reflects in her personal life too...her girls weekend getaways and cooking with her granddaughter translate in her writing.
