I'm a post op TS. This is so real to the life I had growing up. My parent had always punished for every thing. My room was always tossed for contraband. my bother was my abuser starting at age 5. and told everyone I was queer, at school. It was a very lonely place, it was like living in a vaccume.
I have heard all four books. the reality is so real that I stopped to cry.
busted, my parent dressed me down. then one night I went out my window to walk dressed, I changed my clothes out side and walked. I returned changed my clothes and crawled back in the window...there was my parent.
My new bedroom was in the basement.
Alyson Belle is a such a gifted writer, I'm in awe.
