Complicated and confusing. The introduction was so intimidating, I couldn’t get to the actual instructions.

Nothing particularly inspiring or new for me here. I did listen to the whole thing. It’s not unpleasant, just kind of obvious information in my opinion. Also the narrator has a vanilla sing-song kind of voice that I didn’t find engaging.

An assortment of mostly not useful information

There were chapters that were completely un interesting to me…and others that had a lot of mostly obvious information. Maybe 10 percent of the information shared was interesting to me. Most of the advice felt obvious to me, like stuff that most people over 30 would know.. and a lot of other superfluous stuff that I just wasn’t interested in.

No mention of daughter in thank yous…;0(

I really enjoyed the book, especially the inside views of Seinfeld. I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5, because at the end..he acknowledges every single important person in his life, including his son, but omits any mention of his daughter. Not sure if this was intentional. Either way, I think potentially cruel, inconsiderate at best.

Dated and dull

I can’t finish this. I keep waiting for it to get interesting…doesn’t seem to be happening. Filled with animal exploitation…murdered pet pig, incarcerated tarantula, alligator purse..on and on. Not sure why this isn’t eligible for return., not a good purchase for me.

Note to self: don’t purchase audible books by Pema Chodron unless she is the narrator. For me narrator was too perky and phony.

Just ok for me

Would’ve given 3.5 stars if I’d had the option. Not sure why this didn’t resonate with me as powerfully as all the 5 star reviews? I wish it had. I’m a love addict..going through a divorce, struggling with all the feelings. Maybe a woman’s point of view would’ve hit me more? Not sure what I was looking for… but this wasn’t it for me.

There were sections I liked and sections I didn’t care for. I did listen to the whole thing…..There was something indescribable that it was missing for me…and also fart jokes, while funny…I could do without…
