Historia
I wrote this book because I believe everyone deserves a place to belong, and I didn't want poor social skills to hold anyone back from friendship and community - even if they struggle with social skills. I believe that you, too can live a life full to the brim with friendship, connection, and love. I hope that after listening to Improve Your Social Skills, you'll believe it too.

Seems kind of Obnoxious and Fake
Revisado: 10-21-24
Doesn’t sounds like they know what they’re talking about. And trying to make assumptions on what ASD is. Some of the suggestions seem like they would make uncomfortable worse.

Historia
Glen Runciter runs a lucrative business - deploying his teams of anti-psychics to corporate clients who want privacy and security from psychic spies. But when he and his top team are ambushed by a rival, he is gravely injured and placed in "half-life," a dreamlike state of suspended animation. Soon, though, the surviving members of the team begin experiencing some strange phenomena, such as Runciter's face appearing on coins and the world seeming to move backward in time.

Historia
Travis Breeding has never been like others. Growing up, he just couldn't seem to fit in with anyone and didn't understand how socializing worked. He couldn't understand why people didn't like him. Why did everyone think he was so weird or creepy or psycho? Was he? When he finally learned he has Asperger's, it wasn't quite the solution he longed for. He didn't want to accept it. But once he embraced it, he realized he could begin making changes that could someday lead to living the life he wants: one that includes a family and good friends. And even more, he could help others just like him.

Helps you enter the mind of an Autistic
Revisado: 12-29-22
The story didn’t have any resolution and it was unclear if it was part fiction or not. It did give some insight on problems people with the disorder may have .

Mediocre Dangerous Advice
Revisado: 05-10-22
Basically the book suggests heavy vitamin intake and heavy dietary changes; they also suggest self administered salt water catheterization. They even said that science proves their methods wrong and science should be ignored.

Ca'mon Bad Reviews! This course is amazing!

Terrible
Revisado: 09-07-20
It was like a single sentence of material stretched out for 12 and half hours. The dialogue was like William Shatner speaking to a child saying, “I have very adult themed story to tell you, have you heard of little Red Riddinghood. It’s a very adult story “ That line repeats nonstop until the audio runs out.

How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

It may not be the best book out there but it brought up a lot of important points. It is good to hear a narrative from a different perspective.
