Historia
After the War of the Gods, the demons were cast out and fell to the world. Mankind was nearly eradicated by the seemingly unstoppable beasts until the gods sent the great hero, Ramrowan, to save them. He united the tribes, gave them magic, and drove the demons into the sea. Ever since, the land has belonged to man, and the oceans have remained an uncrossable hell, leaving the continent of Lok isolated.

A fresh take on a Fantasy world, with a sometimes frustrating but noble Protagonist. I will definitely keep reading this series.

Historia
It all ends here. Every decision, battle, triumph, and heartache has led the galaxy to this moment. The Republic is spun wildly into sudden war as Gomarii slavers, in overwhelming numbers, strike on behalf of their Savage allies. The battle is fiercest on a newly rediscovered world: Earth. But galactic war is only the symptom of an older, deeper, and far more dangerous conflict. Now, Keel and Ravi must work frantically to assemble the warriors needed to withstand an ancient threat, and Prisma must wrestle to control her own inner darkness.

Historia
The Kingdom of Alanya is home to mystic warriors and mischievous djinns, vulgar poets and vain philosophers, soaring simurghs and scheming shahs. Little do the people know that a power struggle between an ancient sorceress and an upstart sultana threatens to bathe the sands in bile and bones. A bloody cauldron boils, and primeval gods laugh while they stir it. As warhorses charge, arrows shower, and cannon shots brighten the night, all must choose a side.

Different but still excellent follow up.
Revisado: 08-21-23
While the first book followed two male warriors, in there battles in an evolving war. This book follows two women in a kingdom on the brink of war. So it is a different type of story, more intrigue and sorcery, than sword fights and battles. You have to be ready for the difference pace. Still I enjoyed following Zedra and Cyra as much as Keva and Malik.
Most of all, I love the Gunmetal Gods world. it is so different from most European based Fantasy. I am enjoying learning the magic, gods, and people of the world.

Historia
Fifty thousand gun-toting paladins march behind him, all baptized in angel blood, thirsty to burn unbelievers. Only the janissaries can stand against them. Their living legend, Kevah, once beheaded a magus amid a hail of ice daggers. But ever since his wife disappeared, he spends his days in a haze of hashish and poetry. To save the kingdom, Kevah must conquer his grief and become the legend he once was. But Micah writes his own legend in blood, and his righteous conquest will stop at nothing. When the gods choose sides, a legend will be etched upon the stars.

An excellent new world to explore.
Revisado: 07-19-23
Author did an excellent job of building a new world, religions, and magic, all in a Middle Eastern Steam Punk type setting. I can't wait for more.
I enjoyed the characters, some of there obsessions went to far, but not so much that I lost interest.
well worth the money.

Historia
Legion Dark Ops calls upon Chhun, Wraith, and the survivors of Victory Company to form an elite Kill Team of legionnaires in the aftermath of the Battle of Kublar. Their mission is clear: find and eliminate those responsible for the Kublar disaster. Standing between them and their objective are a maze of corrupt Republic officials, a spy on the verge of losing himself in deep cover, and the Zhee - a murderous species that will stop at nothing. But the biggest threat of all might be the truth they seek to uncover - a truth that could ignite a revolution. And engulf the galaxy in flames.

Good concept but main Character is to perfect.
Revisado: 01-31-22
Overall, I thought the World the Author created was new and amazing in concept. I love the ideas of the floating land masses making a world.
The magic system reminded me too much of Brandon Sanderson Stormlight Archive to completely embrace it fully.
My biggest problem is with the main character, He is too good at everything (with the exception of basic human interaction). He is a master tactician, a master duelist, a master engineer, a master forget, and his magical power base line stronger than any other knight. Short on one fight with the Knights in the city, he struggles at nothing. I understand he is trying to overcome his past, but I never felt the main character was in any true danger in the entire story.
If the main character was depowered this would have been a much better book.
