Corrupt people in positions of power are always awful, and this book provides proof we should not have capital punishment in America. People of poor character should not be in positions of power as they cannot admit, wrongdoing or mistakes. There’s also examples of individuals in the justice system believing their own invented stories of how a crime occurred over evidence proving otherwise. Scary.

Wonderful read about obligations as a US citizen that were just normal, adult, God believing American live. Or at least until Trump I thought that was true and now I’ve been shocked to learn that haters live next door. An now I’m challenged to live and BE the virtues I thought we all had. Great book! It turns out I’ve been playing with the scout mindset for 40 years or so since my father and other mentors in law enforcement coached me in it. I find it to be a practice and an art. When I wasn’t really in the scout mindset, but thought I was, it would become obvious that I had slipped into soldier mode when an argument or fight and sued when I was not being genuine or authentic. I look forward to getting the book and reviewing the information and practicing!
