Historia
In The War on the West, Douglas Murray shows how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric. After all, if we must discard the ideas of Kant, Hume, and Mill for their opinions on race, shouldn’t we discard Marx, whose work is peppered with racial slurs and anti-Semitism? Embers of racism remain to be stamped out in America, but what about the raging racist inferno in the Middle East and Asia?

Brilliant and bitting
Revisado: 05-30-22
A most brilliant discourse on the now fully emerged religion called CRT. With his usual erudition, Murray lays bare the sickness and dishonesty its proponents spread. With the skill of an ace fighter pilot, he flies over the scorced cultural landscape left behind as the CRT inquisition conquers its enemies, and then he drops his bomb. This book is a must read (or listen) and it is terrific that the author did the narration as it would have been difficult for a voice actor to get right this revealing and powerful story.

The answers to such basic economic questions matter to everyone, yet the unfamiliar jargon and math of economics can seem daunting. This clear, accessible, and even humorous book is ideal for young listeners new to economics and to all listeners who seek a better understanding of the full sweep of economic history and ideas.

Exceptional, a must read
Revisado: 03-12-19
If you are fascinated, as I am, with economics and you enjoy reading about economic ideas and the people behind them, then you will likely love this book. It presents a comprehensive, chronological walk through all of the major branches of economics up to today (Piketty, et all). Unusually well written, highly recommended.

Historia
In 2011 a series of antigovernment uprisings shook the Middle East and North Africa in what would become known as the Arab Spring. Few could predict that these convulsions, initially hailed in the West as a triumph of democracy, would give way to brutal civil war, the terrors of the Islamic State, and a global refugee crisis. But, as New York Times best-selling author Scott Anderson shows, the seeds of catastrophe had been sown long before. In this gripping account, Anderson examines the myriad complex causes of the region's profound unraveling.

Engaging & illuminating glimpse into another world

A startling look into the chaos one century after the Ottomans. What a mess the (collective) we made. Enjoyed having the author narrate.

Historia
Liberals scoff when conservatives denounce Obama and his policies as socialist. After all, they argue, Obama isn’t Stalin and America is nothing like the Soviet Union. But socialism doesn’t always resemble the Berlin Wall or the Iron Curtain, as National Review editor Kevin Williamson proves in his new book, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Socialism.

Clearly presents the essence of the argument.
Revisado: 03-07-18
The argument against capitalism whether from the socialist, communist, or progressive has always been framed as degrees of caring for the less fortunate vs the cold capitalist. That is not the argument at all as this book clearly explains.
