Historia
When Una Chin-Riley and Christopher Pike meet at Starfleet Academy after one of his lectures, they immediately become friends. A stellar student, Una is the “poster girl” of her class, and Pike is determined to become a Starfleet captain with his own ship, rhetorically assembling his dream crew. As their friendship evolves, Pike also suspects Una is involved with the Euxhana, a Chionian cultural minority, who are seeking asylum in Federation space, leading to more questions than answers.

long forgotten history
Revisado: 03-25-25
It was way too slow and never real picked up. It does have a very good message and has an uplifting feeling about it.

Fantastic story
Revisado: 02-17-25
This was a wonderful addition to the Burtonverse and had it been a sequel film it would have made Batman Returns a wonderful bookend to the trilogy. It sets up that film so well and gives background to so many elements that came through even into the flash crossover, all in all this is a great read with good pacing. It makes the Keaton Batman more real and it highlights more of his detective skills, ingenuity as well as combat abilities under fire.

Gritty action thriller
Revisado: 01-17-24
Story fills in the gap for Logan after he escaped the weapon X facility. it really reads as a thriller as there are a lot of battles and it explores Logan's rather savage nature as he tries to reconnect with his humanity.

A slow paced mystery
Revisado: 12-03-22
It's got a slow paced but a very interesting payoff in the end. I would say it's very much in the Roddenberry style and the characters are in keeping with Next Gen's later season of development it would probably fit between all good things and Generations.

This audiobook delves into six distinct episodes that helped to define the character of a Lincolnian foreign policy: his debate, as a young congressman, with law partner Billy Herndon over the conduct of the Mexican war; his conflict with William Seward over the control of the State Department; his standoff with Britain's Lord Palmerston during the Trent crisis of 1861; his race with Karl Marx to master the new art of molding public opinion; his deadlock with Napoleon III over the French occupation of Mexico; and John Hay's post-assassination battle to define Lincoln's legacy.

Authoritative and compelling
Revisado: 02-19-21
This is very well written as it takes you from the end of WWII to 1961. It can be a bit graphic on certain points but it outlined with exceptional detail the geopolitical chess board between Kennedy and Khrushchev. The best is how it puts you in the room with both men so that you see the conflict from both perspectives.
