It’s the “Christmas Story” of a man’s Vietnam

I really enjoyed this book from the first chapter to the last. The way it was written reminds me of jean Shepards “Christmas story” and then to top it off the narration was the best I’ve heard on here.

I honestly struggled to get started with this book, but after a few chapters this was a very insightful, well researched book that gives all the information possible.
If you want to better understand putins needless war this is a great place to start.

Over the past 3 months I’ve either read or listened to “I Alone Can Fix It” “Landslide” “Fire and Fury” and “Frankly We Did Win This Election” and this book is mostly gossip, one sided opinions. It just wasn’t for me. Grisham tends to always play the victim but she had many opportunity in her 4 yrs to stand up for the right and never chose to do anything except when it clearly was all over and had nothing to lose. This is the only book that I have played at a 1.5 speed because listening to her was a little bit like nails on a chalk board.
