as much fun as the book is to read, Gildert Jackson does DC so much more justice than any narrated voice in my head could possibly do. Grainger has become one of my favorite writers, and this book is among his best.

EXHAUSTING.

I normally love Bryndza's work, But with this book, he went a little too far down the rabbit hole of a distressed female lead, constantly acting irrationally and vulnerable to an almost unbelievable extent. that alone made this book exhausting and next to impossible to finish. The narrator wasn't bad, but her attempts at yelling in the wind, and the constant whining and whining and whining and whining in this book took much of the thrill out of it. a little more than halfway through, All I could think was " Just get it over with already." I think Bryndza was attempting a little too hard to be Ruth Ware or Dervla McTiernan and he flopped. Not worth a listen.

Great Narration - Very Predictable Plot

Started off well. But the writer left waaaayyyy too many breadcrumbs and most of the plot was sealed and predictable 1/3 way through the book. so really you're just listening for confirmation.

You need to get used to the new narrator

it DRAGGGED on. and the ending was so predictable, I was actually irritated I bothered to finish it. and THEN... the darned epilogue was long and completely unnecessary. listen to her others. this was a dud.

love it, but... narration FAIL

Micha Kramer and Kate Reading have narrated nearly all of Brandon Sanderson's works. YET in this volume they change the pronunciation of nearly everything. HOW???? Seriously. do you not remember how you pronounced the name RAY-ON? and now say ROWN? Or A-On to OUWN. Or SHAY-OAD to SHOWD. Makes me feel like Sanderson didn't even listen to it before it was published. Blows my mind. and that's just a few examples In all, it was so prevalent that it took away from the story. like nails on a chalkboard everytime they said a character's name. Other than that, it's Sanderson gold

Awesome. Ignore all the BS "woke" comments

picks up right where it left off. great story. almost moves a little too fast. Yes, there are a few moments of social commentary germaine to today but nothing so overt it detracts from the story or feels forced. great ending. ignore the haters.
