Historia
To most of us, learning something 'the hard way' implies wasted time and effort. Good teaching, we believe, should be creatively tailored to the different learning styles of students and should use strategies that make learning easier. Make It Stick turns fashionable ideas like these on their head and will appeal to all those interested in the challenge of lifelong learning and self-improvement.

Historia
Many of us know we're putting too much pressure on our kids - and on ourselves - but how do we get off this crazy train? We want our children to succeed, to be their best, and to do their best, but what if they are not on board? A few years ago, Ned Johnson and Bill Stixrud started noticing the same problem from different angles: even high-performing kids were coming to them acutely stressed and lacking any real motivation. Many complained that they had no real control over their lives.

All seems perfectly in place
Revisado: 01-05-19
Point is one simple truth, that it realy is their life and they have ability and are entitled to run it fully. One that we all felt true.
But, it also provides excelent derived guides on aplying it in so many different setups and situations, and kids ages.
For that reason, I now understand that even with the same principles, I’d fail so often in executing them. I am bigger risk for that “project” than my kid.
This book provides tools to execute those principles.
I highly recommend.

Lots of information and great performance
Revisado: 02-28-18
Very systematic and thorough analysis of non-verbal communication. Starting with introduction to core behaviours based on our limbic brain, the rest of the book is easily understood. The areas unfold in a good flow and at right pace. The production is more like a decent radio show, in which author's narration, even though pretty unusual at the beginning, perfectly fits.
