There are a couple of other reviews stating they didn’t like the female character because she was always complaining and self-deprecating.

I found this book refreshing. When you go through a divorce, women often don’t feel attractive or “good enough.” Been there, done that and I could really empathize with Blakely. I also loved that Slade understood that and really helped her find herself again.

It doesn’t hurt that they had an immediate connection with each other. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend to anyone. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments mixed in with steamy attraction.

Hilarious and Hot

I love all of the residents of Copper Valley, but this is the funniest yet. Brooks and Mackenzie have been in other books, but now they have their own crazy story, and it is wonderful.

Love! Love! Love!!

What a unique — and utterly perfect — love story. Beautifully written and expertly narrated. This book had believable characters, dealing with real issues and leaning how to juggle family and school on their way to becoming adults. No magic fix of millions to make it an easier place to live. This is one of my favorites from Penelope Ward.

One of the best books I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to you.

You’d think after listening to this twice I could find the words to describe how perfect this book is, but alas, I feel I will fall short.

This story has depth, and great, troubled characters who you can’t keep away from. If you’re on the fence about the purchase or the use of a credit, jump off and add to your library NOW. You will laugh, cry and not end this book with any loose ends.

This was a beautifully written story, and the narrators don’t get any better than Joe, Shane, Muffy and Savannah.

I can’t tell you about the story, although I do love Megan Quinn and was really looking forward to this book.

I made it 47 minutes ... and it was torture. Neither narrator could save this for me ... so I’m out a credit, but at least I’m not suffering anymore.

This might be the best book I’ve ever read/listened to. So many incredible moments with these characters and their families. Do not pass up the opportunity to get to know Knight and Luna.

Absolute Perfection.

I love Beck and his over the top, happy all the time outlook. He and Sarah are great characters who really respect each other and despite the way they’re thrown together, really have a connection. I’ve not laughed this hard in a long time. This book is definitely worth listening to over and over. Put me on the list to get my own “Beck-Bot”!!

I love this series — from George to Chewpacca. And the humans — these characters make me literally laugh out loud! They love just as wild and they behave. I cannot wait to get the next story.

Instant Gratification Indeed

I love the full cast and duet-style reading. I also love that with this latest string of books from LB we are getting to see into the lives of other couples.

This book is funny, sexy and smoking hot. It was a pure pleasure to listen to. You can never go wrong with Shane West and Andi Arndt narrating, and these characters were everything you could hope for.
