The narrator really detracts from the story. The narrator’s voice makes it hard to follow the story. I had to delisted in many places because the words were garbled.

Loved it! Spoiler alert: Yes loyalty like this is forever. Damn good story, woven intricately through generations of combat and loyalty to men in the trench next to you. You would do yourself a dis-service to miss this book.

I bought the hardcover copy of this book to read and look up words and phrases. It impressed me so much that I bought the other (two) audio books by the author. Informative and entertaining. A winning combination in any genre!

I ws not bored by his reading of the book. It was excellently read.
