Really interesting premise that keeps you hitting play. By the end of the reveal the payoff is fantastic. Well acted and a great listen all around!

President snow is low key most interesting character

This book takes a while to get into because there are so many characters the beginning. But if you can finish the book, it is one of the best in the hunger game series. President Snow is the most interesting character. I found him much more captivating than Katniss. Definitely worth a read!

Poor narration of a fantastic book

I agree with many others here. The narrator does not do a good job with any other character. She is ok at reading Katniss and her thoughts. Her reading of any male character just makes them sound dumb. I wish there was a production with all the actors from the movies reading their parts!

Captivating but sad

A great book that really makes you think and care about the main character. The only downside is that it might be the saddest book I've ever read. I don't know. Read it yourself and give it a review. Maybe it just really hit home for me and it won't affect you as much.

Read the first three books, then this one. They increase in quality as the books go on, each more excellent as the next. One warning: if you can afford to wait, wait until all of the books are out. I'm going to go crazy now waiting for the next book

Accents make every story better

This is a good story. It's not excellent, but it's full of feel good stories and a man that speaks with an excellent Australian accent. I love the authors descriptions of character and scenes and the comedy throughout really helps keep the book alive.

Great book

Amazing book. I really enjoyed the world this author has created. The system of magic is interesting and complex. It rivals the universes of Harry Potter to say the least, and is certainly more creative. The characters are extremely interesting, with no single character being good or evil. A great book for most ages... maybe not too young though. I highly recommend and am starting with the second book right now.

As for the performance, I have to give another 5 star. The reader was excellent and engaging. He had convincing voices and didn't strain too much to make ridiculous voices that would've been distracting.

Overall great audiobook. Highly recommend.
