On a March night in 2000, two deputy sheriffs serving a warrant were shot in Atlanta, Georgia. One was severely wounded while the other would die a day later. The shooting kicked off a large manhunt in search of the alleged cop killer. Four days later in Alabama, authorities found their man—Jamil Al-Amin. He was a Muslim leader with the title of Imam in the West End neighborhood of Atlanta. He was also the man formerly known as H. Rap Brown. He was a charismatic Black radical in the late '60s.

I am so thankful for the family and friends who took the time to put this project together so that Imam could tell his lifelong battle with the FBI. I learned so much about him and his community activism to help people who needed his voice and desire to preserve goodness in humanity. Hearing the facts presented during the last trial gives me hope he will be released soon. I pray 🤲🏾 and no matter the outcome, that he be rewarded for actions of good by The Judge on the day of judgment and his enemies be brought to trial before God to present all of the witnesses and conspirators striving to pin Imam to false crimes.

Scholarly Analysis of Two Great Men!

The non-bias comparison and extensive research is what I liked most about this book. The author was knowledgeable of the subject and took great to not offend or disrespect the followers of these great men.
I learned a lot and was able to better understand some things I was unclear on. I enjoyed the breaking down of their messages and was able to see the distinct similarities. It is very clear that they are two rays of the same light!

I enjoyed the author giving us an inside look, a willingness to be open about such a reoccurring problem in our society, so that maybe someone else won’t make the same mistakes. It’s interesting to see how it can happen so fast and cause so much damage. I’d recommend this book for any man or woman on their journey to self-love, discovery, and personal development. Can’t wait to see what Gillian does next!

This was a Beautiful love story for those who enjoy this genre. I really enjoyed the main characters and happy for Esme. It was also nice to hear more about those with autism and managing love, relationships and social interactions. The author did an EXCELLENT job of using the dictionary to express the emotions happening between the two main characters😉
