This version is far deeper than skin-deep. I especially loved the Alchemy and Theurgy sections. It's a truly magnificent blend of scholarship and spiritual practice.

I expected wisdom, but not necessarily an emotional connection. The audiobook takes you into the head of a leader who is trying to keep her sanity while running the world. The reading was personal, like the reader was reading to you softly about their reality.
