Historia
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

Not enough happening, let down
Revisado: 11-15-23
The 3rd book, aside from the end, dragged on in parts, but I decided to give the 4th a try. Unfortunately, I found it mostly boring and predictable. There were no real surprises, the stakes never felt pushed, and half the book seemed to be Bob running around in Manny form with variations on the same event happening about 6 times in a row. There was no real tension, and the nature of the administrator was obvious almost from the moment they set eyes on the habitat. Why weren't the Bobs smart enough to explore that possibility, if not assume it, based on their own nature? Could've been much better. The 1st book was the best of the series.

Historia
While running in Central Park, New York Times science writer Damon Ellis crashes—literally—into a story that just might resurrect his career…and change the course of human history. On the face of it, it seems absurd—a small biotech company in Boston called Calypso that claims to have cracked the secret of eternal youth. Surely a hoax. Or is it?

Main character is unlikeable
Revisado: 09-15-23
The performance is great, but the main character isn't very bright, often a bad friend, a liar, has no perspective, and is basically an adult-child. I had my doubts halfway through, but it turned out well, I like the ending.

Very well done
Revisado: 09-04-23
Found this randomly on audible plus. It was very well produced, like listening to a movie. Good suspense, great voice acting, pretty original story. It ended at a natural point, but if I have one criticism it's that I would have liked to have known a little more of what happened afterwards.

Never heard of this before downloading. Performances and story were great, an entertaining vampire/apocalyptic/dystopian drama.

Don't be fooled by better reviews
Revisado: 02-05-23
Not sure why anyone gave this 5 stars. The narrator literally forgot to edit the narration, such that she stops and repeats sentences and sometimes whole paragraphs in the middle of speaking. The stories are also pretty poorly executed and not everything advertised is there.

Awesome
Revisado: 06-18-22
An addictive, brilliant, original, fast paced work of unusual sci-fi, balancing well between great characters and unusual abilities. 2nd time I've listened to the audible version and I enjoyed the narration as well.

Boring, unoriginal
Revisado: 02-15-19
I get the feeling the author hasn't written or read much sci-fi, and the narrator tended to make simple less-relevant sentences sound too dramatic. The environments didn't seem believable. I mean, he's eating turnips and roots from an alien planet with no fear of sickness or poison? The air was apparently perfectly breathable too, though this isn't even mentioned. Other, smaller things felt unrealistic or just not believable. There was little tension or reason to keep reading/listen.
