Historia
Tom Felton’s adolescence was anything but ordinary. His early rise to fame in beloved films like The Borrowers catapulted him into the limelight, but nothing could prepare him for what was to come after he landed the iconic role of the Draco Malfoy, the bleached blonde villain of the Harry Potter movies. For the next ten years, he was at the center of a huge pop culture phenomenon and yet, in between filming, he would go back to being a normal teenager trying to fit into a normal school. Speaking with great candor and his signature humor, Tom shares his experience.

There are parts that had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt. Then there are parts that had me tearing up. All of it however made me feel like I was actually in the story. Please do yourself a favor and listen to this book.

Historia
When Aurelie Harcourt's father dies in debtor's prison, he leaves her just two things: his wealthy family, whom she has never met, and his famous pen name, Nathaniel Droll. Her new family greets her with apathy and even resentment. Only the quiet houseguest, Silas Rotherham, welcomes her company. When Aurelie decides to complete her father's unfinished serial novel, she must keep her identity as Nathaniel Droll hidden while searching for the truth about her mother's disappearance - and perhaps even her father's death.

Story plot great, historical details not so much.
Revisado: 07-24-22
So my review will probably only help a handful of people. If you only care about the plot then it's great. However if you have any knowledge of Victorian fashion this story is going to make you angry. I am not even finished with it yet and I have lost count of the amount times that some mentions tight lacing corset or how uncomfortable the corset feels. At one point there is a line that the main girl " Reaches underneath her bodice, camisole, and shift to loosen her stays." I don't know if I will be able to finish this story because it is mentioned so much it keeps pulling me out of the story.

Amazing
Revisado: 07-21-22
It's been awhile since I read the original. So much that this version is both fresh and funny. There were many times that I had caught me off guard that I had people looking at me like I was a lunatic. I couldn't stop myself from literally laughing out loud. At other times I would just smile like crazy. So be careful when listening to this people might start to think you've gone mad.

There are a few parts small parts that are so completely relatable you laugh have to laugh.
It's very well written I enjoyed it as an adult and I am sure that my 11 year old daughter would as well. Plus I love the narrator's voice.

Historia
Senior year is my year. This year, I'm going to bring down my enemies. This year, I'm going to run my tongue along the blade of vengeance and taste blood. The Havoc Boys are mine, and we were here first. You don't mess with a Havoc Girl without paying the price. You don't start a rebellion without a little bloodshed. My boys and I don't mind using two wrongs to make a right - I just hope our brewing obsession with one another doesn't kill us all first.

Honestly
Revisado: 03-30-21
Parts of this book had me cracking up laughing and parts had me in tears. That's not say parts didn't annoy me but even in my favorite book, my favorite characters have moments that annoy me so that doesn't mean much.

Historia
Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

Great story just odd Narration
Revisado: 07-24-19
This story was really funny. There are several moments that I had to stop from laughing out loud like a crazy woman. The way they did the narration was a bit weird to me. This is also the first time that I have listened to a story with two narrators but I don't understand why the man and woman narrated all the voices in different parts.
