Historia
Sure, I heal faster than most, and I've got a sixth sense for brewing tea that can fix just about any problem, but my cafe isn't exactly a hotbed of paranormal activity. At least it wasn't...until some psycho attacked me and woke up the freaky, forbidden magick inside, earning me a one-way ticket to jail. Now, a covert magickal university is offering me a deal: my freedom in exchange for help with the Tarot prophecies - cryptic predictions they believe hold the key to stopping a deadly apocalyptic plot.

If an audiobook was a cursed email chain
Revisado: 08-29-20
This is a dumpster fire in terms of production quality but the story is interesting.
The female voice actor needs to be played at .9 speed other wise it sounds like google translate reading and even then the beginning Im not 100% sure if it was human read. Once you get a couple chapters in she sounds better or you just get used to the cursed half human half Alexa sound.
The male voice actor doesn't read the male voices unless the chapter is from a male perspective so good luck trying to reconsile that. Plus he over emphasizes everything which is a delight to listen to.
I genuinely love this audiobook but I promise you there is nothing quality about it but the actual story. It was well written and interesting but the true blessing is how bad everything else is.

Historia
Noelle Charlston lives a fairy-tale life: a doting father, a powerful job, and a future blessed with financial security. However, two meetings with two men changes her happy existence forever. First, she meets the man who makes her heart sing. Three years later, she meets the man who makes her blood quiver. Broken-hearted from a teenage romance, Noelle's freedom is no longer hers. It belongs to the stranger her father believes is her perfect match. The stranger who pulls his lies over everyone he touches.

No Trigger Warning
Revisado: 06-16-20
I've read/listened to books where there is sexual assault or descriptions of men being handsy and normally I am fine, but I just spent at least 10 minutes listening to a very drawn out and detailed scene where the mc is nearly raped. I give it 2 stars because the voice actors are great but shame on the author for not giving any warning about something so explicit and triggering. I will never buy another book from them.

Historia
I was born of nothing. I’m a void, a rare supernatural capable of absorbing powers at the brush of my skin. Feared. Hated. Untouchable. Thibault Academy is full of supernaturals that want me dead, and the most powerful of them, the Paragons, will stop at nothing to ensure I go back to the hell I came from. They’re cruel, heartless, and have created an unlikely alliance to take me down. If I want to learn how to control the nothingness, I’ll have to survive them.

Good Story Awful Voice Actress
Revisado: 02-20-20
I loved reading the book but the narrator was awful. I feel like I have high tolerance of bad voice acting if the story is good but I couldn't make it past the first chapter
