A few good ideas

The book felt scattered. Most of the insights have been said many times before by others.

Most audiobooks these days come with PDFs for things that are referenced in the audio that need to be seen. This book just keeps advising you to look at the pictures in the print version. So many times to get the real point she is making, you would need to see what she is referring to. Based on what I am hearing I don't see a lot of real value in what she is saying and I regret buying the book, so I really don't want to buy it again in another format.

Historia
Mackenzie Allen Phillips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation, and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack one wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change his life forever.

An eye-opening read!
Revisado: 08-06-18
First of all, I will admit that there are gaps in the theology of this book, That being said, it does not claim to be a theology book. What it does do is make you think about how you think about God and some of the sterotypes you may have adopted. It is very human of us to try and put everyone in a box, including God. This book really makes you think I have read it many times and continue to bring it out when I feel like I am falling into a rut.
