Very compelling anlysis of how media affects the message. It changed my appreciation of how we are not only facing an Orwellian future, but also a Huxleyan Brave New World future. Very concise but powerful.

Excellent summary of our fiscal risks

I found this to be a very well explained book that was well presented by the narrator. I thought I had a good handle on our nation’s fiscal structure, but this book exposed the many risky moves made by the Fed and explains how they happened. I cannot overestimate how important this understanding may be to our national survival. Well done, Christopher Leonard and Jacques Roy!

A Great Man and Misunderstood President

The accomplishments of this orphan who overcame his tragic childhood is not taught enough. It is my privilege to have sought out this book that is very well written and beautifully read. You will be glad you took the time to know this great and generous man.

True American President

I was very impressed with Andrew Jackson. He was
a principled man with many faults who put his life on the line for his beliefs. He was tough, outspoken, generous and loyal to his family, soldiers and country. He was as politically incorrect as any president but was always ready to sacrifice his life for his country.

The Bridge

I am very happy that I explored the story of John Quincy Adams. He wasn’t just the son of John Adams but a great American statesman in his own right. He is the type of politician we sorely need today. He fought gor the rights of the disenfranchised, even if they belonged to the opposing party. Like Washington, he thought that the party system was destructive to democracy.

Great Story of Triumph

Giannis’ story is one of incredible triumph. As a Black man growing up in extreme poverty in Greece, the author takes you on a journey to a dream realized. The Antetokoumbo family kept tight family disciple and created a proverbial lane for Giannis to take it to the hoop. Very inspirational story.

A Pleasure for any Kerouac Fan

It was a real treat hearing the original scroll with all the original names. the Reader sounds close enough to Kerouac to suspend disbelief. well worth the read and the listen!
