You can never go wrong with a Meghan Quinn book, honestly, there isn't a book of hers that I've read that I didn't love. She writes Romantic Comedies with the perfect blend of spice, humor and character, and she did it again with A Not So Meet Cute.

This was an audiobook read for me that hit the mark perfectly. I'm rather picky when it comes to narrators, but I loved Ava Erickson as Lottie and Aaron Shedlock as Huxley. Their performance brought that extra oomph to an already great story.

A Not So Meet Cute takes the fake fiancé trope and adds a little extra... a pregnancy! I enjoyed listening to Huxley and Lottie go from being almost childish in their behavior towards one another to acting on the underlying sexual tension, to ultimately finding love.

There were several scenes that had me cracking up over the situations Hux and Lottie found themselves in while pretending to be an expecting couple. Dry humping to relive the point of conception in front of a class full of people?! Being squirted in the eye with fake breast milk from a fake boob?! Best yet, being puked and crapped on by a fake baby with one eye! Definitely no shortage of funny moments in this book.

Of course, on the other side of that, there were the steamy scenes. Get ready for the shower scene, but make sure if you're listening to it, you do it with headphones and away from little ears! Huxley Cane 😍.

I always look forward to Meghan Quinn books and am baffled at how she always writes these stories that are relatable, but still sweep the reader up into the world we're reading about. I highly recommend this book and look forward to a future book about Kelsey, Lottie's sister and JP, Huxley's brother!

This is a MM love story between a bar owner in London and a hockey star from America. The chemistry between Dean and Fitz is out of this world and why shouldn't it be when they're only together for the short time Fitz is in town helping his sister settle in. The interactions between these two guys will leave you wishing you could hop on a plane across the pond and find your own bar owner or possibly fly into the states looking for that devilishly handsome hockey player.

"There's much more here than chemistry. More than the hashtag Best-Sex-Ever effect."

I had the joy of the listening to this book on audio and let me tell you... THAT IS THE WAY TO GO! Shane East and Joe Arden do a fantastic job of bringing these two characters to life. As an added bonus it's told in Duet Narration! For those of you who aren't familiar with the term, this means that both narrators will always read the same characters throughout the book the way it's done when a full cast is involved.

Do yourself a favor and listen to this on Audio. Just do it! Easily a 5 star read for me, the characters, storyline and dialogue were just *chef's kiss*

"The reason is you. I fucking want you. I don't want anyone else."

Holy wow! This is taboo at its finest. The love story in Priest is obviously not your normal, man meets woman, falls in love, lives happily ever after. This is FATHER BELL meets a woman in a CONFESSIONAL, can't stay away and does some stuff in places he shouldn't be doing them...all while falling in love.

Sierra Simone has quickly become one of my favorite authors because of her ability to write taboo and outside of the box books. She creates this scenarios that make me question everything and love every second of it.

Priest is the first in this series and with Jacob Morgan *swoon* and Elena Wolfe narrating it's amazing. Make sure when you're listening to this that it's away from everyone else, headphones are highly recommended and make sure you have some water. It gets steamy!

Connor Crais is one of two narrators that I will jump at the chance to listen to. That deep, soothing voice is just amazing no matter what the story is about. I've actually listened to him read a phone book and loved every second of it, but I digress... Give Me a Reason had the potential to be an amazing story, but I couldn't get over how some of the writing was worded. There were several fragments in the way that Trent spoke that I felt took away from the book.

A.L. Jackson has beautiful, lyrical writing, but I just couldn't get into this book as much as I had hoped. Connor and Desiree, however, were the perfect duet to bring Edin and Trent to life. Their performance is what kept me going through the book and enjoying parts I don't think I would have enjoyed otherwise.

Overall great performance from two talented narrators!

"All broken things can be fixed. The hard part is deciding that they're worth fixing."
First of all, let me just start by saying that I listened to this on audiobook after being bullied (thank you, Stacy) into reading it and finished it while sitting at my desk at work bawling my eyes out. I was super hesitant to read this because of how emotional the reviews were, I honestly wasn't sure I could handle it. I'm so glad I put on my big girl panties and took the dive. This story tears you apart and puts you back together so many times and in so many visceral ways. I imagine reading it would do the same, but I have to say listening to Stefanie Kay and Neill Thorne bring this story to life was an experience in itself.

The Wrong Heart is a story not only about finding love in another, but about finding love in yourself when the world has shown you nothing but pain. From losing a spouse to never knowing the love of a parent, Jennifer Hartmann has created a story that will leave you breathless.

"You're what I've been waiting for. You're what I've been searching for my whole life, and I didn't even know it"

While not your traditional hero, Parker has found his way into my heart as one of my all time favorite men. With his dark past (and present) and seemingly dark future, it would only make sense that he would find that light in his darkness from his moon, Melody. Melody, who is always described as sunshine, is trying to find her way back from the tragic loss of her husband. It's a loss that has driven her to risk taking her own life and sends her to a therapy group for people who have attempted suicide where she meets Parker. I can't tell you how many times I have a complaint about the female lead in books; "why is she so whiny," "don't do that, you idiot!" "ugh, really, that's your plan?!" You get the picture... Melody is none of those women, she's brave, bubbly (not overly so), full of heart, open to love, persistent, and so kind. While she has a naturally sunny disposition, this story is also about her growth, the highs and lows, the struggles and celebrations.

"Parker is the opposite of me in every way, the antithesis to my very soul, and yet I'm drawn to him somehow. There's a darkness inside of him that speaks to my light."

If you've read the blurb you know the premise for the book is Melody's loss of her husband, Charlie and the donation of his heart to an unknown person. There are very heavy themes in this book that I highly encourage readers to consider. With that being said, this story is not what you would expect. There are plot twists and turns that had me sending my friend messages like "WTF is happening?!" I loved every moment of this book and will be purchasing a copy to have on my shelves. It's one of those books you want to hold and experience for the first time again and again.

"I think you saved my life that night."

Read this book, fall in love, have your heart broken and put back together. Do it all with a box of tissues right next to you and DON'T listen to the epilogue while at work!
