Historia
Pam isn’t shy about revealing that her many treks down the aisle eventually led from the altar to the divorce court. During a 13-year hiatus from saying, "I do," Pam used this time to reflect on her past relationship choices and often hasty decisions. Her discoveries about her personality type and how it influenced her actions helped her gain new knowledge and take responsibility, allowing her to finally break her multi-relationship and marriage pattern.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Whether a friend has one divorce or multiple divorces, I would definitely recommend this book just so my friend would realize they are not alone.
What did you like best about this story?
The author gave a very open and honest description of her multiple marriages and divorces. There was no hiding anything. Pam Evans also had stories of others who had multiple divorces, letting readers know they're not alone.
What about Becky Parker’s performance did you like?
Becky Parker has a very pleasant reading voice. She reads slowly enough that the listener can understand every word, but not so slowly that the listener gets bored. The reading was pleasant to listen to and easy to follow.
Any additional comments?
While I enjoyed this book, there is a more specific audience I believe this is meant to reach...those with multiple marriages/divorces. That being said, I do have a better understanding of people who have multiple marriages, and what happens in their lives. I'm grateful that I had the chance to read this book. I received a free copy of this audible book in exchange for an honest review.

Historia
Jon Sinclair is a precocious 12-year-old boy, living with grandparents who have a very unique hobby: time travel. Having already made several trips in the time capsule known as the Carousel, Jon and his grandmother plan a trip back to July 4, 1776, to watch the signing of the Declaration of Independence. But things go horribly awry when the computer system of their space -time ship malfunctions, and they are thrust onto the shores of Port Royal, Jamaica, in 1692.

Great reading!!!
Revisado: 10-24-15
If you could sum up BlackHeart's Legacy in three words, what would they be?
Time travel generations
Which character – as performed by Paul Woodson – was your favorite?
I think Paul Woodson did a great job with all characters. He did enough voice changing and inflections accents to make all characters interesting.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I am moved just by the fact that it's a story of a grandmother and grandson going on a journey together.
Any additional comments?
While this is not the type of book that I typically read, it is definitely great for the younger crowd. I work with fourth graders and think this would be great for that age group through possibly middle school. Time travel and pirates make for an exciting way to learn about some historical events, such as the signing of the Declaration of Independence. I think this book also teaches the value of relationships between children and grandparents.

Historia
As a publicist with a large, respected New York publishing house, Kate finds herself at the mercy of a broken publishing system, books that don’t sell, and author egos that are often, well, as big as the island of Manhattan. Enter the star editor, MacDermott Ellis: Tall, handsome, charismatic, married, and ready to save the day. Then there's Allan Lavigne, once a revered author - now as forgotten as last year's best sellers and his nephew Nick: Tall, gorgeous, sweet, single, and ready to sweep Kate off her feet.

Wonderful story!
Revisado: 06-22-15
Would you consider the audio edition of The Publicist to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version but I really enjoyed the audio edition.
Have you listened to any of Lisa Cordileone’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not listened to any of Lisa Cordileone's performances before. She does have a pleasant enough voice to "read me a story". There were times when reading the male parts that her voice sounded a little "nasally", but otherwise she did a great job at changing her voice to fit the different characters.
Any additional comments?
Having read "Climax", the third book in the series, before listening to this Audible edition of "The Publicist," I knew how the story ended, but did not know how it began. Kate is confused when it comes to relationships and men, but has no confusion in her career. Christina George is excellent at showing the strengths and weaknesses of her characters. Kate can handle authors, editors, and bosses. She took an author ready to be "dumped" by the publishing house, and found a way to make her shine again.
At times you want to root for Kate, and at other times you want to yell at her! George makes Kate so real, and Cordileone brings her to life.
