Excellent book to help reframe people and expectations. Each chapter gives the concept and examples to apply in every day life.

A few concepts in the “love” chapters near the end of the book don’t seem mesh well with “till death do us part,” or Christian values for marriage. So use these sections with caution if this is a concern for you.

Excellent adaptation of the classic

I’m a longtime fan of the book and enjoyed this dramatic adaptation on audible.

Stayed faithful to the original story. Different voices helped keep the story crisp and clear. Would recommend to others.

Excellent tips for learning to live more like Jesus

Recommend this book to anyone who is following Jesus. Especially helpful for people who are serving others!
This book gives great real life applications to help us see and serve people like Jesus did during his lifetime on earth.
Each chapter also ends with a set of questions that help push us toward spiritual growth.

EXCELLENT BOOK!
Loved this opportunity to learn about a few of the more obscure trailblazers for human rights and dignity. Inspiring stories of women who stood firm in faith while working for change in the mire of terrible situations.
Let this book be our own call to action today—right where we stand.

Equally as brilliant as The Shack

Excellent and fully unique story—with insights on how God can work in and through (lots of extremely different) people.

A deep and compelling—helped me see outside my gloomy box of preconceptions.

Also, highly recommend this book to anyone who has loved ones facing Alzheimer’s or other memory issues. There’s a great chapter that deals with this topic.

Second time through is just as good!

The characters are so developed and believable that I feel like I know each of them personally. The life stories unfold seamlessly, as almost unbearable truths are revealed. Great story and performance!

Excellent story and narration

Great for people who have had a rocky relationship with God. Helped me see that God might be a little nicer than I learned about in church as a child.
Provided insight into (1) the three persons of God; (2) the relationship those persons share with each other; and (3) the relationship God wants to have with me—with us, his beloved kids!

Commentary on Christianity was good but beware of racist comparison near end

I LOVED the book, until the racist comparison related to toothpaste in one of the last chapters.
Sadly, I’ll NEVER be able to recommend this book to anyone because of that remark.
