Exceptionally well narrated.

I had always wanted to familiarize myself with the Dust Bowl and was lucky to find this book at Audible. The hardship of the people suffering from the drought periods in the Great Plains is unimagiable, but the account sheds light on their struggles. I would advise all who wish to learn about this period of time in the history of the USA to read this book.

Fascinating account on exploration into uncharted and unknown waters of the Antarctic. I have read several narrations on Polar ventures. This one by Julian Sancton is one of the best.

As much as I liked the subject and Harari’s story, I did not like the use of expressions such as “...tons of years ago” and similar ones with “tons of” this and that. I don’t remember this usage in the unabridged version.

Very interesting subject that concerns a great number of people, not only the British. Therefore, due to the very poor reading performance, many non-British listeners must have struggled to understand the reader. Surprised that a well-versed reader was not hired for the job. A good RP actor/reader would have been preferred. However, the book is very well researched and well supported by facts and arguments.
