Gives the reader a glimpse from the life of those recruited into serving the Empire, and how they could be led to join, and even believe in what they were doing. How difficult it would be to leave, even after being disillusioned, the bonds of comradeship formed an even tighter hold on their loyalties. The story spans thru the original "Star Wars" movie to "Return of the Jedi" as seen through the eyes of two young recruits of the Empire. Well paced and well told, it builds up to a crescendo that's well worth the time.

This was my first "Audible", and I was very surprised by the exceptional narration. Compared to other audio books I've listened to, this was leaps and bounds better.
Being a "Star Wars" fan and not having seen the movie yet, I really enjoyed the story more than I expected!
