Started out slow. . . . but then got real interesting at the end.

I did like it, but it started out slow. Towards the last 3rd of the book all the loose threads that were laid out in the beginning began to coalesced. The story was great, very interesting and a different take on all the stories we heard as kids. The narration was great as well.

Reminds me of the old radio programs I used to listen to at grandpas house with all the sound effects. The story was good, but I felt cheated as it was incomplete, definitely left on a cliffhanger. I really hope there will be a follow-up book!

Wonderfully chaotic crossover!

Absolutely awesome and fabulous crossover. Very entertaining listen, loved the narration. A must listen/read. Listen all the way to the end for some great outtakes on narration!

Good story overall

Looked at this title twice before committing to purchase, the reviews made me hesitate. I'm glad I made the purchase. The story is good, a few things that could have been expanded on, but did not deter much form the main story. The narration gets better as the story goes on, the beginning does sound very tinny and I could have swore it echoed in a few places, but somehow it does bring a certain ambiance to the story. Overall I believe it was a good story, something that could keep you up at night!

Only 4 stars for story, but still a good listen.

I absolutely love this series! The progression of character development throughout the series is never boring, makes honest and logical steps in character psyches and makes for a more believable cast of characters. This series also presents tough and technical scientific research and ideas in a format that can be easily understood. If you are new to this series, PLEASE read the previous books first. Don't judge this series on this book alone. Having said all that, the storyline of this book fell a little flat with me. It didn't have that edge of my seat, what's going to happen next feeling that I've come to enjoy and expect in the Sigma Force series of books. It may be that this story was a little to close to what has actually been happening in the world for the past 2 years and I'm just suffering from virus burnout, as I'm sure we all are. I look forward to the next installment in the series and hope it's not a long wait!
