Historia
Defense attorney Mickey Haller is back, taking the long shot cases, where the chances of winning are one in a million. He agrees to represent a woman in prison for killing her husband, a sheriff’s deputy. Despite her conviction four years earlier, she still maintains her innocence. Loved Titus Welliver as Bosch

Overall excellent. The only thing I really disliked is narrators used different voices for different characters but made so many mistakes it became confusing at several points. Affected the flow.

Historia
Forty thousand years in the past, the last family of Neanderthals roams the earth. After a crushingly hard winter, their numbers are low, but Girl, the oldest daughter, is just coming of age, and her family is determined to travel to the annual meeting place and find her a mate. But the unforgiving landscape takes its toll, and Girl is left alone to care for Runt, a foundling of unknown origin. As Girl and Runt face the coming winter storms, Girl realizes she has one final chance to save her people, even if it means sacrificing part of herself.

Heartwarming and life afffirming
Revisado: 07-02-23
What a wonderful story to compare and contrast two homo species. Both stories are compelling and the comparison between them is so subtle it’s hardly noticed. That’s how well it’s written in.

Historia
Groundbreaking, riveting, and expertly told, The Breakthrough is the story of the game-changing scientific discoveries that unleash our natural ability to recognize and defeat cancer, as told through the experiences of the patients, physicians, and cancer immunotherapy researchers who are on the front lines. This is the incredible true story of the race to find a cure, a dispatch from the life-changing world of modern oncological science, and a brave new chapter in medical history.

Too short
Revisado: 01-07-19
I’m left with so many questions that could have been fleshed out a little bit. There’s so much more to know - like how these new methods are used with old, where are people most likely to get this treatment, a recap of which cancers currently responding to which method, compare and contrast old vs. new in more cancers. Otherwise a good read. Not too technical but sufficiently detailed in descriptions.
