I wish I read the reviews. I think I am cutting my losses. The story is ok but not Worthy of FIVE credits There was a lot of promise too but the storyline started to drag. I can't do this for five books.

Five stars for a one of a kind listen

I wanted more! This is a beautiful well written story of two musicians trek to fame. The story digs deep into their relationship with the glue that held them together - The Cinnamon Hair girl. I love the well built character profile. The narration was Ok.

Just Wow.. No Words.. Ten Stars

I don't know where to begin. All I will say is this one is a lesson in language and imagery through words. Sometimes I laughed. Sometimes I cried and other times I was plain shocked out of my skin. I had many wait what moments.

The author is talent and a master of words. I would pause and Google many times. Definitely a second listen. Perfect narration and ten sinful stars to Ben Kinesiophobia.

Just Plain Torture

I am returning this one. I own all of Kristan Higgins book but I can't do this one. I am an hour in and can't stop crying. I skipped to the end to see if it would get better and more bawling. I may try again in the future it it ever comes to Plus but I can't justify a credit for the mental agony. I don't mind some tears here and there but I need a break. This book is just too sad for me to continue.

So glad I ignored the reviews on this one. The narrator was ok. I don't mind vanilla narration. The story was long but an enjoyable listen with a happy ending. I love stories with strong family dynamics.

Horrible Narration

I could not get past the narrator. Listen to a sample before you buy. Not worth a credit. I had to return without finishing. The narration is very distracting and takes away by from the story. The end of every sentence has a weird strange emphasis.

Emotionally Gripping

This booked evoked some deep emotions. at times it was hard to get through because of the brutality. I hang in there because it was Catherine Anderson at her best. I will never forget the rescuing of Miranda from a well filled with snakes. There are some other scenes that evokes strong emotions. The narration was great and I highly recommend.

Unforgettable Gut-wrenching Love Story

What a book! You never forgot a book that makes you cry and feel gut wrenching emotion. I was sorry to see it end. I stayed up the whole night to complete. Ryan and Bethany had a passionate, all consuming love. You could not help but root for both of them as they work through their many trials and tribulations. Both characters were very likable and the narrations was flawless. I am definitely interested in the rest of the series. .

I have passed over this book and author many times but decided to give it a try solely based on the reviews. The story was fantastic. I loved the narration. Both character are flawed in their own way but we get to know them through their witty banter. I was sorry when it ended. Great listen!
