Repetitive, not my cup of coffee
Revisado: 10-05-24
This is included and narrated by Travis Baldree, far and away one of the best narrators I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. But the storytelling wasn't for me. One-liners, action, and witty conversation is part of the noir style; spending several minutes explaing the thought process behind every statement and action....not so much. Tried to make it to the end, but just couldn't do it.

Trenton Colman is exceptionally creative, with a knack for all things mechanical. But his talents are viewed with suspicion in Cove, a steam-powered city built inside a mountain. In Cove, creativity is a crime, and invention is a curse word.

My opinion on fires of invention
Revisado: 05-02-23
To start of, of all the readers this book has the best one in audible. The story line is also very creative, and not once throughout the whole book i did not think about no reading this book.I got very attached to Simmin and Trenton Angus was not someone I got attached to though.

A Lackluster Survey
- De Matthew D. Miller en 08-28-14
Not quite a historical lecture
Revisado: 09-12-22
Not much original in these lectures. I was expecting a comparative analysis of Biblical New Testament events with contemporaneous sources and a discussion of the differences, etc. Instead, the three lectures I listened to were simple 30 minute refutations of historical events in the NT along the lines of "Jesus wasn't born in Bethlehem because Matthew and Luke have differences and had something to prove" and "Jesus wasn't born of a virgin because (again) Matthew and Luke have differences and wanted to write something to fulfill a prophecy; also, other myths relate the idea of gods fathering son's, so probably just another one of those".
Nothing very detailed or critical in these particular lectures.

Historia
Monsters and beasts roamed the earth and were slain by soldiers and adventurers who were, in turn, killed by stronger threats. Heroes and villains created new epics and were forgotten when their successors appeared. This was the way of the Infinite World. Summoned into this chaotic place, a young boy with no name and no past must learn to survive. Bound to a master who doesn't care whether he lives or dies, he must become stronger. The question is: how?

Fast paced story with a great narrator
Revisado: 05-10-22
Great LitRPG; story is fast paced, just enough "internal" moments to add depth to characters without being repetitive or monotonous. Narration is great, with a good variety of tones and accents. Kept me interested until the end!

Historia
For thousands of years, there has been a cycle: a Demon King rises and conquers, and a Hero is reborn a hundred years later to defeat him. Each time, civilizations are ground to dust beneath the Demon King's hordes, but humanity has remained secure in the belief that a Hero of legend will always save them. There's just one slight problem. It's only been 23 years since the Demon King's latest rise, and this time, he's already conquered more than half the world. If humanity simply waits for the Hero's return, there may be no world left for him to save.

incredible narrator; so many good voices. And the story itself was a great, funny exploration of what life would really be like with superheroes, supervillains, and the usual government crap. Awesome job.

This book delivers on the premise
Revisado: 01-17-20
Good narration, moderate pace so you have time to consider what was said. The stories chosen as examples are very engaging and presented in a way that keeps you listening. Also, the last chapter is title End Credits, but DONT BE FOOLED! It's really a recap of the lessons of the book and worth the listen!
