Historia
‘Getting lost to find yourself’ stories don’t often involve going to prison, unless you're award-winning comedian Angella Dravid. Love, Rock Bottom and other Triumphs is her story inspired by true events of a dorky teen who runs away from her dysfunctional family to marry her chat-room true love, almost 30 years her senior and living on the other side of the earth. BUT things get bad. Like, terrible. Yet, this is a surprisingly uplifting journey of finding yourself.

Compelling, heartbreaking, raw, honest and funny. Angella, thank you for sharing your story here. I felt for that 17 year old girl - she has lived through a lot. Highly recommend…five stars…needs to be a TV series! Ngā mihi!

Wait! What?!?!
Revisado: 09-05-20
This is a beautifully written play about life and love and it’s done with so much heart. There is a moment, you’ll hear it, when I sat down sighing ‘No...no...how can this be?’ Compelling performances from everyone. It’s absolutely worth a listen. It’s uplifting and hopeful...something the whole world needs right now. Rob from New Zealand.
