Historia
Fourteen-year-old Ozzy lives near Portland, Oregon, and is desperate for help. His scientist parents have been kidnapped after discovering a formula that enables mind control. Their work was so top secret that Ozzy is afraid to go to the police, but without help, he fears he'll never find his parents. Then he stumbles across a classified ad in the local newspaper that says "Wizard for Hire. Call 555-SPEL." Ozzy has read about wizards in books like Harry Potter, but wizards couldn't exist today, could they? After Ozzy meets the wizard Labyrinth - a.k.a. Rin - he's even more skeptical.

Bought for my kids loves it myself
Revisado: 08-14-24
I originally bought this for my kids to listen to, but I usually listen to them first to determine age appropriateness. While listening I actually ended up really enjoying it as well.

Historia
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

Water Treat Expert
Revisado: 02-27-24
As a water treat expert I found the book extremely informative. It opened my mind to different areas of the industry. I already knew the EPA and municipal water systems had problems and this just put the nail in the coffin.

Historia
When Elon Musk was a kid in South Africa, he was regularly beaten by bullies. One day a group pushed him down some concrete steps and kicked him until his face was a swollen ball of flesh. He was in the hospital for a week. But the physical scars were minor compared to the emotional ones inflicted by his father, an engineer, rogue, and charismatic fantasist.

The Naked Communist has sold almost two million copies. It found its way into the libraries of the CIA, the FBI, the White House, and homes all across America and the world. The Naked Communist contains a distillation of more than a hundred books and treatises on communism, many written by Marxist authors. We see the communist the way he sees himself - stripped of propaganda and pretense. Explained here is the amazing appeal of communism, its history, and its basic and unchanging concepts.

Incredible
Revisado: 06-08-21
If you are looking for an introduction into communism this is the book for you. I read the communist manifesto and then this book, but I wish I would have read this book first. It would have really helped my understanding of the manifesto as I was reading it.

WoW was I wrong. I loved this!
Revisado: 05-16-21
I have listened to the entire Enders Game series and put off listening to this because I just thought it was a full cast reading of the book. WoW was I wrong. This did a fantastic job of bringing a different perspective to the book. I highly recommend listening to this if you love this series.

Historia
In a world filled with consumers, what happens if the producers give up and leave? And how can people better practice personal responsibility and not have a sense of entitlement about the things they think they deserve? Ethan and Emily Tuttle tackle these questions in their latest adventure, this time as clowns in the visiting circus. Incorporating ideas from Ayn Rand's hit novel Atlas Shrugged, this book shows how things begin falling apart when socialism creeps in. Join the clown twins as they try to figure out where Atlas went and more importantly, why he left.

A must read for kids and adults!
Revisado: 05-06-21
I have read Atlas Shrugged around 5 times and love it! However, how do I pass that love of Atlas Shrugged to my kids? Then I found this book and it did a great job of bringing Atlas Shrugged down to a kid level. It is also enjoyable for adults to read along with their kids.

Historia
Just a generation ago this place was called America. Now, after the worldwide implementation of UN-lead program called Agenda 21, it's simply known as the 'Republic'. There is no president. No congress. No Supreme Court. No freedom. There are only the Authorities. Citizens have two primary goals in the new Republic: to create clean energy and to create new human life. Those who cannot do either are of no use to society. This bleak and barren existence is all that 18-year-old Emmeline has ever known.

First thriller in 7 years
Revisado: 12-07-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Already have.
What other book might you compare Agenda 21 to and why?
Ummm not sure do not usually read thrillers.
What about January LaVoy’s performance did you like?
I was satisfied my wife didn't like the main characters voice.
Any additional comments?
I couldn't stop listening, I finished it in two days while I drove my work truck. It usually takes me 2 or 3 weeks to finish a audio book. Great story extremely fascinating I am glad I made the decision to get the book, like I said I do not usually buy thrillers but I bit the bullet and am glad I did! First Glen Beck book I have purchased.
