Historia
The day that 12-year-old James Doty walked in to his local magic shop is the day that changed his life. Once the neglected son of an alcoholic father and a mother with chronic depression, he has gone on to become a leading neurosurgeon, based at Stanford University. He credits Ruth for this incredible turnaround: the remarkable woman he met at the Cactus Rabbit Magic Shop, who devoted the summer to transforming his mind and opening his heart.

Historia
This book is about pleasure. It’s also about pain. Most important, it’s about how to find the delicate balance between the two, and why now more than ever finding balance is essential. We’re living in a time of unprecedented access to high-reward, high-dopamine stimuli: drugs, food, news, gambling, shopping, gaming, texting, sexting, Facebooking, Instagramming, YouTubing, tweeting....

Incredible insights on so many levels.
Revisado: 12-21-21
I’m not writing this to get likes. That would just be a way of me looking to spike my dopamine levels! No, I’m writing this in the hope that you’ll reading and buy the book.
Too many of us live a life of escapism. We lose ourselves in work, caffeine, nicotine, sugar, fat, negative thinking, Netflix, social media, porn, gossip and so much more. Your ‘habit’ is a ‘self’ killing mechanism that is helping you cope with stresses and strains of your everyday life. The truth is, they’re not helping you.
Dr. Anna Lembke uncovers and explains in this superb book the actualities of what is going on in our minds and the actions we do to numb our inner numbness.
Using case studies of her own problems plus those of her patients, we begin to understand what is happening to us as individuals and how we can reset our minds to overcome the addictions we have self created.
Having read and listened to a number of books and audiobooks on the subject of overcoming addictions, this is by far the best I’ve read.
Do your brain and your addiction a favor. Stop doing the thing that is your addiction. Buy this audiobook and listen to each chapter with an open mind. Abstain from the negative thing that you’re doing and understand you’re in control and that you CAN lead a healthier happier life, free from YOUR self induced painful addiction.

Amazing in every sense
Revisado: 12-16-21
This has got to be one of the best autobiographies that I’ve ever read.
Listening to Taron and Elton reading the ups and downs and tantrums and tiaras of Elton’s life from baby boy to fully fledged super dad has been phenomenal.
Having watched Rocketman numerous times and listened to hundreds of hours of Elton’s songs, this brilliant autobiography is a must read. Loved it.

The methods contained within this book are so simple, so instantaneous, and so effective, it’s as if they work by magic. If you implement even one tactic in this book, you’ll see the change in your prospects' demeanor. And you’ll know the $100M Offers method worked when you start hearing, “What do I need to do to move forward?” before you even ask for the sale.

Highly addictive listening and packs way more than expected.
Revisado: 10-10-21
American business books, boy are they overly brash and promise you the moon on a stick.
I’m British. I’m ALWAYS skeptical of American business books (and audio books)
$100m Offers is not typical of the above.
It is highly trustworthy in the information it delivers and how it’s delivered.
Alex doesn’t want to sell you anything. He wants you too succeed so he can work with you in the future. He brings some much insight and realism to the way we do business that I’m trying to cram all the information in before his processes become public knowledge.
I’ve not finished the book yet but I’m very ‘sold’ on what I’m learning… it’s very impressive information and that’s saying something coming from a skeptical person like myself.
