Historia
It was supposed to be just another mission. Buried deep in the rugged Alaskan wilderness lies a secret that could alter the future of mankind - a secret that billionaire Elizabeth Grey has invested millions in solving. But when the dig goes silent, an elite team of battle-hardened military contractors is brought in led by former Marine Max Ahlgren. While the mission to make contact and rescue a team of scientists and engineers working on an “archeological” project seems like an easy payday, once on ground, the team discovers the grizzly truth that this is no ordinary rescue.

Slightly Achetypal but Good

characters were interesting but not particularly outstanding. storyline not terribly innovative but the overall dialogue and execution of the story made it worthwhile. I'm looking forward to the next in the series to see how this story progresses

Excellent work!
Revisado: 07-31-21
This book is an excellent analysis of how politicians and political leaders are corrupted and do harm to the general Society. even the most superficial student of History should be able to understand how specifically and immediately the concepts in this book pertain to the times that we live in now and hopefully would incite them into taking part in a refusal to be the victim of these people. For those reviewers who objected to the latter half of the books being a reading the Constitution the Bill of Rights and certain letters written by our forefathers, that very information is what needs to be written on all of our hearts again. The letters from our forefathers should serve as dire warnings against terrible times we are soon to face in this country.

Historia
Miah Gray is a 27-year-old former army soldier living in rural New Hampshire with his sister, mother, and her boyfriend. He is plagued by PTSD, finding solace, but not redemption, with the aid of prescribed cannabis. All he wants to do is get high, relax with a good sandwich, and watch a meteor shower with his neighborhood crush, Jen. When the sun's light is blotted out the following morning and the world is plunged into darkness, Miah finds himself locked down with his family, covering windows with trash bags, lighting candles, and following the arcane rules of an ancient prophecy.

Historia
From a New York Times best-selling historian comes the story of how the alphabet ordered our world. A Place for Everything is the first-ever history of alphabetization, from the Library of Alexandria to Wikipedia. The story of alphabetical order has been shaped by some of history's most compelling characters, such as industrious and enthusiastic early adopter Samuel Pepys and dedicated alphabet champion Denis Diderot. But though even George Washington was a proponent, many others stuck to older forms of classification.

interesting but admittedly dry
Revisado: 06-29-21
it's pretty hard to make something like the history of alphabetization exciting I would imagine. this is an accounting of historical occurrences and as such is not all that adrenaline inducing but who would have expected it to be right? I think the narrator did a pretty good job although having a British accent did make it more difficult at times to focus on what was being said rather than how she was saying it.

Good story. Narrator's voice a bit edgy
Revisado: 06-12-21
the story is a good one. just enough twists to keep you interested. the apocalyptic basis is a bit tired but understandable. the narration is not bad but the variation in character voices is not great and some of the voices are very grating on the ears.

a continuation of a great story and a blending of a side story that was also very good. The characters are both humorous and sometimes stereotypical but the outcome of their actions is legitimate and real.

Historia
In the spring of 1903, the 311, known to locals as “The Majestic”, carried more than 100 passengers on board toward a tunnel mouth that would allow the 13-car locomotive to pass safely through the underbelly of the Canadian Rockies. The tunnel swallowed the 311 whole, and the train - and everyone on it - were never seen again.
