Too many words for so little a story

This was way too wordy with very little plot.

Worst book she’s thrown together so far. Could have been more colorful. There were no details or descriptions of anything.

I urge you not to waste your money

Happy, Feel Good Book

Good story with a lot of colorful characters. I like a book to listen to before bed that won’t ramp me up or stress me out...but still keep me hanging in there wanting to hear more. This fit the bill perfectly! I hated for it to end

I thought this was a very good story. A little short on details and occasionally you would expect the characters to make much better decisions… Can’t say much more or it will be a spoiler.

I really enjoyed most of Nancy players books, and this was a good one.

Probably the worst book I’ve ever listened to

I couldn’t get past the first chapter. This book starts off with a course speaking main character and three greasy redneck brothers-she finds masturbating in the bathroom and have a schedule for that time.

I tried to hang in there with hopes that it would get better. But when everything you read is in the low class sexual nature and dealing with family, too much for me to stomach

An all time favorite

This is one of those wonderful books that makes you feel warm and comfy. A book about a woman of a certain age, Setting out on an adventure with her special friend, doing something spontaneous ,that most of us would not do.

This is definitely a great read, with a feel good and happy ending

Would you try another book from R. J. Keller and/or Caroline Shaffer?

The "blurb" sounds inviting, but I've not been able to make it to the 6th chapter. The "F#$@word is just constant - writer must be at a loss for creative words. The narrator switches accents mid way sometimes and I get caught up in thinking about that and can't stay tuned in.

What could R. J. Keller have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Cut out a bit of the bad language.

If you could sum up The Book That Matters Most in three words, what would they be?

This is just a great feel book. I love the cast of characters. I love the twists and turns and surprises. But what i liked most was, it was real life. unpredictable and this is how we deal with life.

Yes. Calm and a sweet take on married life after 60...

Would you listen to another book narrated by John McDonough?

Yes. He's got a calmness about him that I used to enjoy in the Cat Who book with George Guidall narrating. So relaxing.

Was These High, Green Hills worth the listening time?

Yes. I listened each night before sleep and found it very calming
