Wanted to slap whinny narrator
Revisado: 02-28-23
The story was interesting and had potential. But had to skip several chapters in a row to be able to tolerate the narrator’s whinny voice and the characters “woe is me” attitude. I know I will never listen to anything narrated by Lauren Enzo again.

Terrible
Revisado: 02-18-16
Main character is most hateful person you ever want to meet. I've never read a book for enjoyment where I kept checking to see How much longer before it was over so I could stop listening.

Hard understand and follow
Revisado: 11-22-11
Has The Neon Rain turned you off from other books in this genre?
This is second Dave Robicheau Novel I have tried and I have not liked either one. Normally I like this genre but apparently not James Lee Burke.
What didn???t you like about Will Patton???s performance?
Mr. Patton's Cajun accent slurs to the point of incomprehension his

Well worth the credit
Revisado: 11-22-11
This was different take on urban fantasy held my attention from the opening lines. The reader gave very good performace of the story. I would recommend it to anyone who likes characters like Harry Dresden or Felix Castor.

Plodding and hard to follow
Revisado: 02-09-05
This story dragged and was hard to follow in its own right. The narrator's inflectionless reading makes it even worse. Save the credit.

Boring
Revisado: 01-20-05
Generally I enjoy Kellerman's novels. This one is so slow and plodding, I kept checking to see what the book was supposed to be about. I reads like a beginning writers first attempt at a mystery. Save your credits for a better book.
