Historia
Deep within hostile Reeh Empire space, the UFS Phoenix is hunting another AI queen. This one is named Chion, and she has been installed at the heart of Reeh Empire power, enslaved against her will, for the past 8,000 years. Within her vast knowledge lies the most intimate data on Nia, the deepynine queen now threatening humanity's very existence. Freeing Chion could be the key to beating Nia and saving humanity. But Phoenix's allied drysine queen, Styx, and Chion's AI former sidekick, Shali, both want Chion for their own purposes.

Wow!

Absolutely loved every minute of it. I hope someday there will be a TV adaptation of this work. Engaging style of writing augmented with great characters, political intrigue, sprinkled with epic battles. Can't wait for the next chapter in the saga.

Historia
For centuries, the Quinn corporation has granted power to those families that pre-existed them on the planet. Now, with a war on and everything at stake, Charles will burn that legacy to the ground in order to purge the planet of those who would stab his family and corporation in the back and reward those who will help them win the war. Meanwhile in the mountains, rival commanders vie for the loyalty of the invader's army as both sides prepare to spill their blood once more across the stones of the embattled world.

This is a phenomenal series!

This is a phenomenal series in the military sci-fi genre. I'm surprised that more people have not caught on to it. Regardless, I truly enjoyed it even though the book has a strong religious disposition. Can't wait for the next one.

Historia
As a veteran of four other wars, Citizen Carthalo should not be on this world, and he certainly should not be burdened with commanding over half the army. Yet, after the crippling losses suffered, that is precisely where he stands. Now, he must lock horns with the commander of the other half of the army, over both the course of the war, and the future of the world they fight over. In Enemy of My Enemy, no one is safe, not even from their friends. Join the adventure to find out who will fall, who will stand, and who will claim the world when the dust settles.

A lot happens and nothing at the same time!
Revisado: 03-23-22
This was a good follow up to the first book but at times the story seems to drag on just for the sake of it.

Historia
When war comes to your planet, you fight, but not everyone fights for the same side. While Charles, the Quinn Corporation’s beleaguered CEO, fights to navigate the political intrigues of the other powers on the planet, Moses Smokoska and his little brother abandon their father’s homestead to put on armor and learn what it means to go to war. The war might be fought among the stars and in the air, but it will ultimately be won on the ground, man-to-man and sword-to-sword, across a continent that spans the world.

Refreshing take on military sci-fi.
Revisado: 02-18-22
If you like military sci-fi novels with well developed characters, a great plot, and logical adaptations of science then you won't regret this book. I love the balance of political intrigue and military adventure in the story. The novel has strong religious undertones but it's not overbearing.
My only gripe is that the characters adopt modern technology and develop military prowess with such ease that it is borderline absurd. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the book and can't wait for the next one, and hopefully many more.
