Historia
Emily Miller tells her personal story of how being a single, female victim of a home invasion drove her to try to obtain a legally registered gun in Washington, D.C. The narrative - sometimes shocking, other times hilarious in its absurdity - gives the listener a real-life understanding of how gun-control laws only make it more difficult for honest, law-abiding people to get guns, while violent crime continues to rise.

Any additional comments?
I like Karen Rose and I enjoy detailed settings but I can not get into this book. Sad because I was hoping to see a great and longer book from Karen, Yawn, this is not it!

Would you listen to Conviction again? Why?
Probably not
What was one of the most memorable moments of Conviction?
The Ending - I won't give it away
What about Patricia Kalember’s performance did you like?
She shifts well from character to character
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
innocent man sentenced to die
Any additional comments?
This will be the last RN Patterson book I'll be reading. TOO much bad Republican, good Democrat and not enough Truth! Reads like the speeches at the DNC. Exile was a better read in this respect and I can already guess the misinterpretation of the Constitution that appears in his book about the Second Amendment.

August 6, 1943: In his brief career in the Office of Strategic Services, 24-year-old Cletus Frade has already been involved in a lot of unusual situations, but nothing like the one he's in now, standing with a German lieutenant colonel named Wilhelm Frogger in a Mississippi prisoner-of-war detention facility.

Worst of the W.E.B!
Revisado: 02-27-10
I have enjoyed other book by Griffin but this one is a real yawner! Don't get me wrong I love long detailed books as I do a lot of driving but this thing needs a hard copy print out just to keep the characters straight! I don't think this book dies because of Scott Brick's reading - I like Scott's reading of other books such as De Mille's - I think this is just a boring book. If this is the level of material that is available today me and Audible may part ways.

Revisado: 02-27-10
The Eight was a fantastic read and it must have been tough to create the logical completion of the story but Katherine Neville did it skillfully. If you intend to read this you must read The Eight first as much of the material in The Fire is best understood after reading The Eight. I thought Susan Denaker did a good job of reading the book, maybe some of her accents weren't perfect but you can tell who's speaking and still keep your mind on your driving. Audible needs to fix part 3 as one chapter is repeated back to back.
