The Amazing Characters!

It was a wonderful listen….but Emma always writes the best books with the most complete characters. You really feel like you are right there with the key characters and understanding their pain and their struggles. Mostly you feel their love. What I like most about this book is how opened Zack and Rowan were with each other. 5 stars all around!

What a tale? So engaging you can feel and see it all. It ends in the absolutely perfect spot..the Lost Brides continue to make themselves shown. Amazing talented characters in this small Maine town..but each deal with what life has brought them and they figure it out and move on. The narrator was amazing and brought the story to life. Can’t wait for The Mirror!

One of the best stories I have read..listened to.in a long time. The author has choreographed multiple lives in multiple settings in an amazing way. Watching the events rollout keeps you wanting to listen on until the end. Love when you have multiple readers as it really makes the story come alive. So worthy of 5 stars…and by the way it was the perfect ending!

What can I say? I have read all of Vi’s books..but this is so different than anything she has written. The anticipation of what is going to happen next will keep you at the edge of your seat. The audiobook is so well matched to the actual intenseness of the female character that you understand the anxiety and craziness she is feeling. And the ending perfectly matches my feeling throughout the book…what will happen next. So 5-star worthy across the board,

What a story…

To understand through letters the thoughts of a person about their darkest moments and deepest love is what wraps around this heart wrenching story. It is not an easy story to read as so much hurt is felt by those we meet. But Colleen has the magic in her words that takes us through it. A wondering novel and great audiobook narrators who make it come alive….worthy of more than 5 stars.
