Do not be misled by the synopsis.

This book is best directed at younger, fairly healthy men that may have only just begun to notice lowered erectile quality. It is better suited as a motivator to maintain erectile fucntion by better caring for yourself. It is most certainly NOT a solution to men with erectile dysfunction.

While a lot of what he says has already been recomended to us for general health, the author explains the exact science of an erection and how certain health factors affect it. Specifically, the author explains how exercise, diet, and certain supplements can affect NO levels in the bloodstream and their effect on cappilaries and circular health which directly affects erections. He also explains the damaging effects of oxidation on your body's cells and ways to prevent it. After taking the author's advice on supplementation and begining a regular exercise regimen, I have certainly noticed more consistent, firm results.

Tongue-in-Cheek

If you are a hopeless romantic in search of all the right answers to finding the love of your life, this is not the book for you. It is also not for anyone overly sensitive. It is a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek production that reminds me of the kind of banter you might expect from Spike TV. This piece offers solid advice about being a gentlemen and having tact, curtosey and class, but at the same time being man enough to shrug off the inevitable rejection from a rude, smart-mouthed female.

It's best described as a more REALISTIC view on the interactions between the sexes, rather than an idealistic romanticism. It's a middle ground. It's quite practical, if you can look past the parts that are NOT MEANT to be taken seriously. A 5 minute rant on not dating women with cats is meant to be comical, not dating gospel.

The most damning drawback is that the speaker's intonation and inflection is often exageratted and downright irritating.

Keith Harrell adds levity to a heavy topic. While many speakers can get long-winded and try too hard to make a metaphor of everything, Harrel is to-the-point and tells some very ammusing anecdotes and exercises that could lift your mood no matter what your attitude on life. His enthusiasm is sincerely contagious.

A hodgpodge of obviousness.

This is mostly just obvious dating advice that's regurgitated in every men's magazine on a monthly basis. What isn't ovious is appalling--women suggest they actually base an entire life-changing decision on such things as whether your bed is up against a wall and how many forks you have in the drawer. Because character is SOOO overrated. The section on "charm" is especially disgusting and manipulative.
