YA novels featuring heartbreaking home lives and mean girl bullies are hard for me, but this one was well written by Jody Hodges and beautifully performed by Jessica Renee Ryan. I will definitely recommend this, especially to my YA reading students!

Excellent narration

This is not the type of story I normally listen to, but I gave this one the old college try. The premise held promise, but did not feel like a fully-realized and adequately edited story. Christenson’s narration made the lack-luster story more manageable. His smooth, honest delivery kept me listening long after I wanted to stop.
