Good book but repeating plot
Revisado: 05-25-23
It was a good book over all but it kinda of just kept going back to that clear sky and gray wing were brothers which kinda got tiring. But still listen to it. It’s a good book work a listen.

Historia
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

Historia
Intelligence is usually seen as the ability to think and learn, but in a rapidly changing world, there's another set of cognitive skills that might matter more: the ability to rethink and unlearn. In our daily lives, too many of us favor the comfort of conviction over the discomfort of doubt. We listen to opinions that make us feel good, instead of ideas that make us think hard. We see disagreement as a threat to our egos, rather than an opportunity to learn.

Thought provoking
Revisado: 04-02-21
I am grateful for Adam Grant putting this book together. This is exactly what I needed in my life right now. While I do have periods of reflection and rethinking it shows me it would be helpful to be more systematic as well as provides a framework for rethinking. Excellent work!

Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Brilliant
Revisado: 09-22-19
This may be Malcolm Gladwell’s best book yet. This is the kind of thought provoking work WE NEED to read and learn from as a nation. The production of this audiobook is off the hook as well.
