Historia
Inheriting the Magnolia Inn, a Victorian home nestled in the East Texas pines, is a fantasy come true for Jolene Broussard. After living with the guilt of failing to rescue her self-destructive mother, Jolene knows her aunt and uncle’s B&B is the perfect jump start for a new life and a comforting place to call home. There’s just one hitch: stubborn and moody carpenter Tucker Malone. He’s got a half interest in the Magnolia Inn, and he’s planting his dusty cowboy boots squarely in the middle of her dream.

Feel good, down home Texas story.
Revisado: 02-21-19
This is the first time that I listened to a book by author Carolyn Brown. I strongly recommend it if you like romantic story! A beautiful story of two broken hearts who try a second time to trust and love someone! It’s a story that probably would fit into anyone’s life....so realistic, true, filled with different emotions, and love. Highly recommend this for a “feel good”, down home Texas story.

Highly recommended!
Revisado: 02-21-19
This book took me through every emotion I posses. I initially thought it was a light contemporary book, easy summer reading. Then half way through the book we get a serious plot twist that I wasn't expecting and from that moment on it took me on a roller coaster of feelings! The characters are well developed and perfectly imperfect, I loved Ella as a main character and Jamie just gave me all of the best love interest vibes. I felt so connected to each of their lives, which isn't always an easy thing to do. Characters make or break a story for me and in this case they definitely made it. I wasn't super invested in many of the side characters and felt they were more of a filler than a benefit to the story, with the exception of Jamie's parents who I loved.
If you enjoyed books like Me Before You by Jojo Moyes and Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson, then I believe you will enjoy this book! Just be prepared for the feels!! I highly recommend this book!!

Enjoyable read
Revisado: 02-21-19
Never Too Late is one of Robyn Carr's few books not related to any of her series. As she has done in other romances, the author weaves a few different story lines into the mix.I love her style of writing and down to earth characters. The book is more of a character study of the interaction between the sisters, their strengths and weaknesses and how it affects their relationships with men. The story also contained a number of realistic touches that made it seem especially authentic; not everyone is perfect including Clare. All I can say is by the time you finish Never Too Late, be sure and have something light and humorous ready to read. Therese Plummer did a fabulous job narrating Never Too Late, both female and male voices.

Revisado: 02-21-19
This is the perfect romance audiobook to listen if you are looking for something quick. The book made me smile and I absolutely enjoy Andi and Zachary’s performance. They both are on my list of amazing book narrators. This is a short, sweet, sexy and fun story. Cameron is Lulu’s best friend and it is time for him to find love. Kristen is his mystery girl who he meets thanks to a nosy, sassy grandma that had it in her that her granddaughter will be his perfect match. Grandma is my favorite character in the book!

Landon Brinkley’s dreams are all coming true. She’s landed an internship with a fabulous event planner for the Hollywood elite, taking her from small-town Texas to the bright lights of LA. Landon finds herself in a world in which spending a million dollars on an event—even a child’s birthday party—is de rigueur, and the whims of celebrity clients are life-and-death matters.

Revisado: 02-21-19
Party Girl is such a fun, sweet read! Landon is a small town Texas girl who throws herself into the unforgiving world of L.A. event planning. All the characters, good and bad, are so fabulous and well written. I loved every bit of the flirty, slightly forbidden romance that was sprinkled into the main storyline of Landon’s self-discovery and true friendship. There’s a bit of every feel in this book, but overall it is a light, fun read!

Historia
Laurie is sure love at first sight doesn't exist anywhere but the movies. But then, through a misted-up bus window one snowy December day, she sees a man who she knows instantly is the one. Their eyes meet, there's a moment of pure magic...and then her bus drives away. Certain they're fated to find each other again, Laurie spends a year scanning every bus stop and cafe in London for him. But she doesn't find him, not when it matters anyway. Instead they "reunite" at a Christmas party, when her best friend, Sarah, giddily introduces her new boyfriend: the man from the bus.

A wonderful book about believing in love!
Revisado: 02-21-19
One Day in December is the kind of book that will touch your heart and make you believe in love. The kind of heartwarming love that is meant to be against all odds. The kind of love that leaves you smiling just reading about it. I opened the book and found myself immersed in Laurie and Jack's story. It was exactly what I needed. An addictive, unputdownable, angsty love story that filled my heart with a solid dose of romance.

Historia
When someone asks you to spend your life with him, it shouldn't come as a surprise - or happen in front of 45,000 people. When freelance writer Nikole Paterson goes to a Dodgers game with her actor boyfriend, his man bun, and his bros, the last thing she expects is a scoreboard proposal. Saying no isn't the hard part - they've only been dating for five months, and he can't even spell her name correctly. The hard part is having to face a stadium full of disappointed fans....

This was such a delight to read! I adored the diversity, the humor, and the portrayal of some really relevant, yet tough topics. These characters were all brand new to me, but I’m really excited to go back to The Wedding Date and see how we meet a certain someone initially there. Definitely recommended!

One of the best books I've listened to this year!
Revisado: 02-21-19
Dorothea Benton Frank’s “By Invitation Only” is such a funny, charming, and wonderful novel, I had way too much fun reading it. I was so sad when it ended, loved it so much from beginning to end. One of the best books I’ve read this year! This novel was so much fun to read, what a treat! I thought it was going to be cheesy, but it wasn’t like that at all. Frank has done a incredible job of setting up the atmosphere of the novel, which I thought was the highlight. I love the south, and the southern charm is imbued in every aspect of the story. Hilarious, heartwarming, and charming, highly recommend this novel! This was my first novel by the author and certainly won’t be the last.

In love with every part of this book!
Revisado: 02-21-19
As a lover of Hallmark movies, I quickly bought this book, and really enjoyed it!
The story is set in a small town, and is about second chances. Andrew and Kelly had plans to marry, but Andrew was offered a scholarship in Paris, to learn the art of Pastry and Baking, that he couldn't turn down. With plans to return, Andrew heads off, but doesn't come home for 7 years.
Kelly is still in their small town and now has her own bakery, when Andrew comes home, seven years later, for a short trip. She is still hurt and upset with him. They both get a opportunity to do a bake off competition, but they can't say a word about it. Little do they both know, they will end up at the same place, in NYC.
I loved the characters in this story, and all the small town vibes. The story kept me interested, and had the perfect ending.

Historia
Suffering from depression but desperate for 'normality', Rachel Cullen found herself in failing relationships, the wrong career and a reliance on alcohol and chocolate to get her through each day. Stuck in an endless cycle of mental misery, she put on a pair of old trainers. She'd never been able to think of herself as a 'runner' before, and the first time she forced herself out the door, she knew it would hurt. Everywhere. She just didn't realise how much it would heal her, too.

This book it not just about running. It also helps to reminds us that life is hard, and sometimes we just need to know it's going to be ok, I can get through this.
I loved the way it is written with the humor, honesty, and love. The author is very open with her struggles and it makes this book relatable to many people who read it.
I truly enjoyed listening to the book! If you need a reminder that you are not alone, pick this book.
